What is SIL under the NDIS?
Supported Independent Living is part of the NDIS, where the NDIS funds the support you need to live independently. In essence, it covers the cost of having a carer on site, in your home, to help with things like preparing meals, personal care, medical assistance, and other essential daily needs.
It doesn’t cover your rent or electricity bills, but other funding can help with those costs.
