APPENDIX H

Understanding Appendix H: Supporting Families to Live Together in SDA

Appendix H can help eligible Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) participants live with family members who are not eligible for SDA. These arrangements support families to stay together in an accessible home that meets the participant’s needs, while providing greater choice about where they live and who they live with.

Shared ratio support of 3:5 during the day and 1:5 overnight.
High Intensity Support capability.
Experience supporting catheter care, bowel care, stoma care and autonomic dysreflexia.
