Fit for purpose apartments

Four luxurious one and two bedroom apartments have been fitted out to meet the High Physical Support, and Fully Accessible design requirements of the NDIS, making them perfect for Supported Independent Living. They also come with living areas and balconies that are generously sized and wheelchair accessible too, of course.

Layered with luxurious touches

Inside your European-designed kitchen you’ll also find adjustable, engineered-stone benchtops and stainless steel appliances. As you move from one room to another, the timber-composite floorboards seamlessly join the well-appointed living room, kitchen and bedrooms. You can also keep the perfect temperature, in a variety of zones with ducted air-conditioning to living, and bedroom areas.

On top of the building itself, you’ll have access to the communal rooftop garden, sky terrace and BBQ facilities that come with panoramic views of the city, and the mountains in the distance.

Designed for Specialist Disability Accommodation

These apartments have also been designed, and tailored to meet the NDIS requirements for Specialist Disability Accommodation, which means you’ll be able to access all the support that you need.

Specifically, these apartments have the structural provision for ceiling hoists, and come with a customisable kitchen, bathroom and laundry. They also have state-of-the-art assistive technology provisions, and a two-way communication system to contact the onsite carer, who’s there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Living in North Wollongong you’re only minutes to the beach or Fairy Creek, and there’s no shortage of restaurants, bars, cafes and of shops. Beaton Park Leisure Centre and Sports Field, Wollongong Tennis Club and Wiseman’s Park Bowling Club are right there too, should you be feeling more active.

There’s a bus stop right outside, with over 15 routes taking you wherever you want to go, and Wollongong Central is in reasonable distance too. And of course, being in Wollongong you’ve got wonderful countryside all around, Lake Illawarra and the sparkling ocean right there, and you’re only a short distance to Sydney.

SDA with Concierge/OSS is purpose-built housing designed for accessibility, offering private apartments with shared support services to assist residents with daily tasks and unexpected needs.

Concierge/OSS provides flexible, ad-hoc assistance for unplanned situations, such as technology issues, medication support, or urgent help, while still allowing residents to maintain independence.

Concierge/OSS is available for NDIS participants living in SDA or shared accommodations who require occasional assistance with personal care, household tasks, or community participation.

Concierge/OSS offers help with daily tasks, evening check-ins, medication reminders, technology troubleshooting, social event setup, and urgent situations requiring immediate attention.

Support is prioritised using a triage system: urgent requests are addressed immediately, while non-urgent needs may take up to an hour.

You can contact the Concierge/OSS team via phone, text, or by visiting the Concierge/OSS unit. The Nurse Call Buttons and Pendants in your apartment can be used at any time to request assistance, whether for daily needs such as mobility support, help with technology, or accessing personal care, as well as for emergencies.

Concierge/OSS is flexible and available for unexpected, ad-hoc needs, while Planned Support is scheduled in advance for regular, time-specific tasks.

Yes, Concierge/OSS is available around the clock to provide support whenever needed, whether during the day or overnight.

Costs depend on your NDIS funding and support plan. The service agreement outlines the pricing structure, billing details, and any potential adjustments.

Yes, your service agreement is flexible and can be adjusted as your needs evolve. You can discuss changes with your NDIS Planner or Support Coordinator.

Concierge/OSS works alongside your direct support provider to ensure a seamless and well-coordinated care experience. While your direct support provider delivers planned, one-on-one support, Concierge/OSS is available for unplanned and ad-hoc assistance. Both teams collaborate in the best interests of your well-being, ensuring you receive the right support at the right time.
