MyLife Housing, in partnership with Allara SupportServices, is transforming the disability accommodation landscape by moving beyond traditional group homes to offer Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Villas. These beautifully designed living spaces prioritise privacy, independence, and tailored support for people living with permanent disabilities.
SDA Villas are designed to provide residents with the freedom to live independently while receiving the supports they need to achieve their goals. With designs that cater to a range of accessibility needs and funding requirements, these accommodations set a new benchmark for disability housing in the Central West and beyond.
To help participants, families, NDIS planners, OT’s and support coordinators better understand the opportunities SDA presents, SDA Services expert Greg Barry will host an informative session on 27th February 2025 from 11am to 1pm in Bathurst. This session will explore how SDA is reshaping disability accommodation and how individuals can access these life-changing options.

• SDA Design Categories & Funding Requirements: Insights into the design standards that make these accommodations unique.
• Functional Assessment Reports: Learn how to craft an effective report with guidance from a Senior Occupational Therapist from Cerebral Palsy Alliance.
• Collaboration with Support Teams: Discover how onsite shared support works seamlessly with participants’ existing team of Support Workers.
